Located in an industrial ​building owned by PICO themselves, we were tasked with a clear brief from the start - to overhaul and update their Singapore main office that would keep up with their current outlook which saw PICO as an Agency more than just a Contractor. Using a continuous pathway concept which created an infinite loop around the office, this design element enabled the different series of spaces, from enclosed meeting rooms and private offices, to the open-plan work stations and break-out spaces, to flow seamlessly into one another, making possible for various departments to interact easily and also blur the hierarchical relations between staff. Garden themed medley of break out spaces were created within this large footprint to cultivate a sophisticated yet fun and creative ambience. A Chill-out Lounge was also created, with a well-stocked pantry and library, which often serves as an effective avenue for casual meetings and brain-storming work lunches.
